Ministry of Water and Sanitation is the lead in implementing, providing oversight, technical leadership and promoting coordination amongst participating agencies. The Project falls under the Department of Water Resources. However, individual project components, sub-components, and activities will be implemented through relevant MDAs.

DODMA is key in programmatic coordination, planning and implementation of the intervention in an integrated and cohesive manner that facilitates resilience building.

The multi-sectoral Technical Team (TT) is made up of attached staff from various MDAs and a team of project management consultants competitively recruited to support on PMU, Procurement, FM, M&E and environmental and social safeguards.

The project has the Project Steering Committee (PSC) which is the apex decision-making body and mandated to provide overall policy direction. Under PSC there is the Project Technical Committee (PTC) to provide technical guidance.
